Blue Spotted offers glass canopies for aquariums 5 to 360 gallons with or without a center brace by Aquarium Masters, Deep Blue, Perfecto, and more. Our glass canopies include diamond polished edges, handle, hinge, and backsplash. Each canopy comes with a handle and each canopy folds open. The backsplash is plastic and 2 inches wide and can be cut to accommodate airline tubing, heaters, and other gear.
Our glass canopies help to keep fish from jumping out of the aquarium and maintain water levels. A cover reduces evaporation, which means you will not lose water as quickly. This can be pretty noticeable in warm water systems. Evaporation can also leave mineral deposits behind. In saltwater tanks this quickly leads to 'salt creep', where a thick salt crust forms over everything nearby; even freshwater tanks will start to look a bit gross if you don't keep that clean.
We offer a variety of sizes to fit 10 gallon to 360 gallon aquariums, with or without center braces. The canopies are made of non-tempered glass and come with plastic handles, hinges, and backsplashes that can be customized.
Blue Spotted also offers the same quality, glass canopies for rimless aquariums! We offer glass canopies for 8"x8", 10"x10", 12"x12", 20"x20, and 24"x24" rimless cube aquariums. Each glass canopy includes the glass lid, a plastic handle, plastic clips, and a 2" wide plastic backsplash, which can be cut to accommodate for airline tubing, heaters, and other gear!
Please measure your tank opening to the nearest 1/16 of an inch before purchasing. Each aquarium brand has a different size frame and opening for canopies.
