In the DIY mode, there are 8 time periods covering 24 hours, and the start time, end time, light color, and brightness (free combination of W R G B) of each time period can be set freely according to your preferences. The power off memory function ensures that the fish tank light setting is not lost when the light resumes work, and you only need to set the local time.

The 24/7 Lighting Cycle in DIY Mode is Amazing for Aquarium. There are 8 time periods, L1-L8, covering the entire day, with the light displaying the correspondingly set light color and brightness in each period. During the DIY mode, if you press the up, down, light on & off, or color setting button, the light will exit the DIY mode and operate according to the current changes. Only by modifying the local time will it return to the DIY mode. If the DIY mode setting is not changed, it will resume normal operation the next day.

The Day Mode displays white light (W+R+G+B), slowly turning on or off within 15 minutes. Brightness cannot be adjusted, and if you press the light on & off button or color setting button, the light will exit the day mode and operate according to the current changes. Only by modifying the local time will it return to the day mode. If the day mode setting is not changed, it will resume normal operation the next day.

The Night Mode displays one of 7 preset light colors, slowly turning on or off within 15 minutes. Brightness and color cannot be adjusted, and if you press the light on & off button, the light will exit the night mode and operate according to the current changes. Only by modifying the local time will it return to the night mode. If the night mode setting is not changed, it will resume normal operation the next day.

The DIY Mode is ideal for seasoned veterans, while the Day and Night Modes are ideal for beginners. The DIY Mode allows for customization of the 8 time periods, L1-L8, with the start time, end time, light color, and brightness freely set. When the DIY mode is running, the beginning of L1 stage and end of L8 stage will be completed in 15 minutes, and the transition for other time periods will be completed within 3 minutes, providing a buffer stage for the fish.

The Day Mode allows you to choose the start and end time, as well as the brightness of the white light (10 levels, 10%-100%). The Night Mode allows you to choose the start and end time, as well as 1 of 7 preset light colors (Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Cyan, Blue, Purple). The time of day mode and night mode can be overlapped to avoid sudden changes in light that could damage fish and plants.

The wired controller with an LCD monitor has 6 buttons: Up, Down, Mode Setting, Light On & Off, Time Setting, and Color Setting. The LCD monitor displays the local time, current mode, running start/end time, and current light color and brightness. The aquarium light is IP68 water-resistant, has a color rendering index of 89, and features a flicker-free, stable LED with good heat dissipation performance from the 1.2mm aluminum alloy metal shell.
