The filter cartridges feature a multi-stage filtration system: Stage 1: Dense cotton mesh removes particles and debris. Stage 2: Activated carbon removes toxins, odors, and discoloration. Stage 3: Zeolite absorbs harmful components and balances the pH value of the water. Stage 4: Dense cotton mesh removes additional particles and debris. Stage 5: Ammonia Reducer Filter Pad provides further water treatment before the water returns to the aquarium.
The activated carbon used in these filter cartridges is made from nutshell, which has a more developed pore structure, more uniform pore distribution, and a longer life compared to traditional charcoal. This results in superior adsorption and cleaning abilities, providing cleaner and healthier water for your fish.
The zeolite used is spherical in shape, which is cleaner and more advanced than crushed granule zeolite.
