Each Aqueon QuietFlow Canister Filter comes with a selection of different return fixtures, including a traditional Water Director, a Spray Bar, and a unique hang-on-the-back Polishing Unit. The Polishing Unit allows for the use of one Large Aqueon Filter Cartridge, which filters the water one final time before it enters the aquarium. This cartridge is quick and easy to replace, taking just a moment to do.
The Aqueon QuietFlow Canister Filters are available in three different sizes, catering to aquariums up to 155 gallons. These filters were developed by fish enthusiasts to meet the needs of fellow hobbyists and their fish tank requirements.
The multi-stage filtration system of the Aqueon QuietFlow Canister Filters includes biological, chemical, and mechanical filtration, ensuring a comprehensive and effective cleaning process for the aquarium water. The easy access for quick routine maintenance, with the included hang-on-the-back polishing unit, makes the filter user-friendly and convenient to maintain.
The multiple water return options, including the spray bar, water director, and water polishing unit, provide optimal versatility, allowing users to best suit the needs of their aquarium habitats. The Water Polishing Unit uses Large Aqueon Replacement Filter Cartridges, which should be replaced monthly.
The internal media replacement process is straightforward, with the recommendation to change the carbon every 30 days, rinse or replace the foam pad as needed, and change the white polishing pad as necessary. The Aqueon QuietFlow Canister Filters come with quick disconnect valves, pump locking heads, water intake/output connections, hoses, and the water polishing unit with the required media: activated carbon, coarse foam, bio-balls, and bio-ceramic rings.
