Tetra Whisper Internal Filter for 20-40 Gallon Aquariums
The Tetra Whisper 40i Internal Filter, designed for aquariums, offers a quiet and convenient 3-stage filtration system. This submersible filter mounts on the inside of the aquarium, allowing the tank to be placed flush against a wall and easily concealed with decor. The included air pump provides bubbles that move water through the filter, efficiently filtering and oxygenating the aquarium.
The water flows through Ultra-Activated carbon, which absorbs odors and discoloration, as well as through the dual-sided mesh of the Bio-Bag Filter, trapping debris and fish waste. This filter can handle up to 170 GPH while oxygenating the water. The Tetra Whisper 40i Internal Filter can be easily adjusted to accommodate high or low water levels with the included mounting clip.
Each unit comes with the filter, air pump, 2 feet of airline tubing, and one large Tetra Whisper Bio-Bag Filter cartridge, which needs to be replaced monthly. The replacement small filter cartridges are also available. This filter is suitable for 20-40 gallon tanks.
